A female jogger has sustained head injuries in Victoria Park, Hackney.
A Twitter user posted earlier today: “A woman jogger just got attacked in Vicky Park, face and head covered in blood! Police everywhere!”
Police have confirmed that the woman was discovered during the early hours of this morning, October 8, 2013.
There has been no further update on her condition.
No official police statement has been made and there have been no reported arrests.
